Terms of service

Last updated 10 August 2026

These terms explain the rules for using 4words, a workspace for organising creator projects and, when you choose, scheduling content for connected social networks.

Using 4words

You must be at least 18 years old to use 4words. You are responsible for keeping your account secure, for activity in your workspace, and for making sure the information and content you add to 4words is lawful and accurate.

Your content

You keep ownership of files, notes, posts, media and other content you add to 4words. You grant 4words the limited permission needed to store, process, display, back up and publish that content when you ask the service to do so.

Do not upload or publish content that infringes someone else's rights, breaks the law, contains malware, or violates the terms of any connected social network.

Social network publishing

Connecting a social account is optional. If you connect one, 4words will use the permissions you approve to schedule or publish content only when requested by an authorised workspace user.

Social networks may reject, limit, moderate, remove or change published content according to their own rules. You are responsible for reviewing posts before publishing and for complying with each platform's policies.

Service availability

We aim to keep 4words reliable, but the service may be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, hosting issues, social network API changes or events outside our control. We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the service where needed.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse 4words, attempt to access another user's workspace, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, scrape the service, or use it to send spam, deceptive content or unlawful material.

Liability

4words is provided as a productivity tool. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, publication delays, rejected posts, social network account action, or issues caused by third-party services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as 4words changes. The updated date above will show when the terms were last revised. Continuing to use 4words after changes means you accept the updated terms.
